Syntrus Achmea Real Estate & Finance has acquired 49 intramural care apartments in Lage Vuursche, Municipality of Baarn on behalf of the Achmea Dutch Health Care Property Fund (ADHCPF) The vendor is the healthcare institution Lyvore, part of Zorggroep De Opbouw, which will rent the apartments on a long-term contract.
The location Elisabeth Park on the Kloosterlaan in Lage Vuursche comprises three buildings, where care is provided to people with psychogeriatric or somatic care needs. The residential care complex was commissioned several years ago and addresses the needs of the aging population in the area who like to live in a green environment.
“This acquisition is in line with ADHCPF’s strategy of further expanding the volume of intramural care apartments in the portfolio,” according to fund manager Daan Tettero. “This investment allows us to also make a positive contribution to Lyvore’s operations. After all, much of the management and maintenance of the property is done by us. This allows Lyvore to focus even more on its primary mission of providing quality care.”
Last October, Syntrus Achmea purchased 30 intramural care apartments in The Hague on behalf of the ADHCPF. These apartments, intended for people with dementia, have been leased to Haagse Wijk- en Woonzorg on a long-term contract. A regular day care centre and a specialised day care centre for children and teenagers with intellectual or multiple disabilities were also part of this acquisition.
Lyvore was assisted in the sales process by Carebeek.
